**Be aware, this blade is high carbon steel and will rust. This is not a flaw in the steel, simply the nature of the steel. Keep blade clean and oiled to help retain the finish.
There is not a construction worker in Sweden who hasn't had at least 2 or 3 of these knifes. They are inexpensive and therefor they have always been heavily abused. They will take this abuse and they will not fail you. Use a hammer on it. No problem! Forget it in the woods in the fall and pick it up in spring time again. Sure there is some rust on it but just polish it a little and continue to abuse it. It will take it!!! This is a true favorite of Sweden and the first knife for millions of Swedish boys. :)
For an inexpensive around the house all-round knife this is the best you can get imho. This model and the upgraded models with plastic handle. They are very sharp out of the box and they stay sharp (use hammer on the other side of the blade ;)
And yes, I'm also Swedish if you didn't figured it out. ;)
