The Boker Plus Leviathan is another collaboration between Boker and custom knife maker J.B. Stout. Stout's custom knives are some of the most sought after knives in the industry, and the Boker Leviathan offers a Stout design at a fraction of the price of one of his custom knives. The Leviathan's reverse Tanto blade is made from D2 tool steel, which offers good edge retention along with more toughness than most steels that are commonly seen in folding knives. Even though it is a high carbon tool steel, D2 has 10%-13% chromium which makes it a semi-stainless steel. The stonewashed stainless steel lock side scale is paired with a black G-10 show side scale on this model to save a bit of weight versus the standard all steel Leviathan.
