While 1095 is a top choice for professional cutlery designed for hard use, it will rust and stain if not properly cared for, especially on the cutting edge and around the laser engraving. It is the user's responsibility to keep the blades properly lubricated and cleaned. ESEE Knives suggest using a dry film rust inhibitor such as Tuf-Glide or Tuf-Cloth. We use it here in the store and at home. Great stuff.

From a collection: Case 523-3 1/47 SSP Small Game Knife with Stag Handles. Features a 3 1/4" upswept stainless blade with Pheasent embellishment. Brass single guard and pommel. Stag Handle. Leather Sheath. Original Presentation box. About 7" overall Knife is in excellent condition. No signs of use or carry. Appears to have original factory edge. Original leather sheath excellent, Doesn't appear knife has ever been in the sheath. Box in excellent conditon. White cardboard slipcover solid and fully intact, but show some yellowing from age. NOTE: While this offering is in excellent condition, be advised we obtained it from a collector, so please consider it used.
