Spyderco Endura 4 Lightweight Full Flat Ground with Teal FRN Handle Scales First produced in the 1980's, the Spyderco Endura was one of the first knives to feature a pocket clip and it's light weight made it easier to carry than the sheath knives that were typical then. Designed by Spyderco co-founder Sal Glesser as the perfect knife for forward-deployed military personnel, the original Military Model is one of the cutlery industry’s most iconic designs. This elite Sprint Run™ expression of it further elevates the design by rendering its dramatically styled, full-flat-ground blade in CPM 20CV. This highly wear resistant, powder metallurgy stainless steel contains a high volume of vanadium carbides and the highest amount of chromium of any vanadium-rich stainless steel currently available, giving it a remarkable combination of edge retention, corrosion resistance, and toughness. Whether it’s for survival, the great outdoors, or summer projects, the military inspired 0006 is the answer. Though it pays homage to the original ZT-9 with a steel guard, this full-tang beast is not a bayonet. Instead, this versatile ZT fits snugly in a durable Kydex sheath for travel. Named after its 6-inch blade, the 0006 uses CPM 3V, a tough tool steel that resists edge chipping during the hardest work tasks. While this non-stainless steel wasn’t designed for corrosion resistance, ZT added a clear Cerakote coating for greater durability. It’s a thick blade at 3/16 inches, but still plenty functional. The rounded profile fills the hand without being too big, and an olive G10 handle offers comfortable grip. Choke up on the aggressive jimping with or without gloves for greater control. When ZT makes a fixed blade, there’s nothing else like it. The 0006 is no exception.

This is the smallest ZT ever made. And yes, it’s an impressive piece of engineering. The 0022 from ZT and Tim Galyean is the most compact ZT ever. But this mini is mighty.
