This limited-edition version of the Police 4 Lightweight features Carpenter Technologys Micro-Melt PD#1, an air-hardening, cold-work die steel designed for superior wear resistance and toughness. Its advanced alloy composition is further improved by the CarTech Micro-Melt powder metal process, ensuring an ultra-fine, homogeneous grain structure. Equivalent to CPM CRU-WEAR, this high-performance steel is the core of the knifes full-flat-ground PlainEdge blade. The blade is coated with a non-reflective titanium carbonitride (TiCN) coating for added distinction, and the fiberglass-reinforced-nylon (FRN) handle is molded in a deep burgundy color. Matching the black-and-burgundy theme, the four-position pocket clip, lock bar, and handle hardware are also finished with durable black coatings.
