  • Jumpmaster 2 SE

    $210.75
The original Spyderco Jumpmaster was developed for use by military jumpmaster personnel as an emergency cutting tool to free hung paratroopers. A distinguished member of the Spyderco Salt Series of knives, its 100% rustproof H-1 steel blade and fully serrated SpyderEdge not only made short work of military static lines, it also offered the greatest edge retention of any knife Spyderco has ever made. The Jumpmaster 2 continues that tradition, taking the extreme cutting power of a fully serrated H-1 blade and packing it into a do-everything leaf-shaped profile that eagerly tackles all cutting tasks. • Pacific 2 Salt PE

    $121.88

Spyderco C91PBK2 Pacific 2 Salt. Black Firberglass Reinforced Nylon (FRN) handles and H1 Stainless Steel plain edge blade. A dynamic combination of the third-generation Endura one-piece handle design and the ultra-corrosion-resistant properties of H-1 steel, the original Pacific Salt was an incredibly capable full-service folding knife. What it lacked, however, were the improvements that made the current Endura 4 even better than its predecessor. The Pacific Salt 2 includes a high-traction Bi-Directional Texture pattern, enhanced handle ergonomics, and a versatile four-position pocket clip. In addition to these features, this knife integrates an H-1 blade with a linerless handle in a shining example of Spyderco's passion for Constant Quality Improvement (C.Q.I.). This knife was born to perform in and around the water. • Old Hickory 8" Slicing Knife

    $15.97

    Old Hickory 8" Slicer

First introduced in 1924, the Old Hickory® knives are the most venerable product line still in active production. The Old Hickory® knives feature a hardwood handle secured with brass compression rivets to 1075 carbon steel blades that are both very sharp and capable of retaining an edge better than most stainless knives. Proudly manufactured with artisan processes for over 90 years, Old Hickory® has stood the test of time and is proven to be the best carbon steel kitchen cutlery sold today.

    USE & CARE

Please note that the Old Hickory knives are made with carbon steel.  We have been making Old Hickory since the early 1900's.  Carbon steel knives require extra care to prevent rusting and oxidation of the surface.  Old Hickory should not be placed in a dishwasher or allowed to soak in a sink.  We recommend cleaning the blade with a damp sponge or cloth and dry thoroughly.  Some people go a step further and apply a light coating of vegetable oil to the blades surface. If your blade shows signs of rust, use some steel wool to remove it and then apply some oil to the blade.   To keep the blade razor sharp, use a honing steel, sometimes referred to as sharpening steel, or sharpening stick. After years of use, the steel blade will develop a patina, a darkening which is desirable and an indication of its age.  Old Hickory knives are durable and affordable, but do require special care.
