Dietmar Kressler, one of Germany's most famous knifemakers, is Bokers partner in one of the most demanding and challenging projects Boker has ever introduced into the Boker Plus Series. The result was worth the long period of hard work - we are very proud to present the Boker Plus Kressler Subhilt Integral Fighter. The handguard, as well as the second hilt and handle butt are all an integral part of the knife, which is drop forged to the final shape. One solid piece of steel, without any separate parts like bolsters or guards. As an additional feature, we added a tapered tang. This complex and elaborate production procedure results in an extremely solid piece with a unique and noble appearance. As blade steel, we chose 440C stainless, which is well proven with its outstanding edge retention and corrosion resistance. Black canvas Micarta, fastened with stainless steel tubes, provides an excellent grip and an attractive contrast to the mirror polished surface. The second hilt provides an uncomparable safe and secure handling in any situation. Boker Plus 02BO026 Little Rok Fixed Blade. The robust Boker Plus Little Rok by James Helm is suitable for everyday use as well as for the field and convinces with balance, ergonomics and durability. The American custom knifemaker from Texas spent his childhood on his parents' ranch and thus came into contact with tools and knives at an early age. He made his first own designs shortly after high school and has been designing and building knives full time since 2009. His designs are particularly geared to the needs of outdoor enthusiasts and police and military forces. The sturdy droppoint blade made of SK-85 has an abrasion-resistant black powder coating and is of full tang construction so that it can withstand even greater stresses without any problems. The contoured handle made of green micarta always lies securely in the hand thanks to the fine texturing and allows a variety of safe and comfortable grip positions. Quick handle changes into the reverse grip or back are supported by the ergonomic shape of the handle. The characteristic hollow rivets also serve as a lanyard hole. However, Newton Martin from Texas has developed a construction which is virtually indestructible, despite the screwed tang and handle. Extreme bending tests with this fixed blade have permanently deformed the blade before any kind of weak points were noticeable at the point of connection. The massive blade has a thickness of 6mm, and is made of high performance 440C stainless steel. The construction of the handle provides an entirely waterproof compartment inside the handle, for the safe storage of additional equipment (not included). The cord wrapping of the handle not only increases the grip but also provides several valuable meters of stable rope in case of an emergency. Due to the milled checkering, the handle also provides a safe amount of grip in various conditions without the wrapping. The prominent handguard enhances the secure handling of the knife.
