A streamlined version of Spyderco's patented compression lock is paired with a stainless steel lock bar insert that is inset into the handle to ensure a solid lock while keeping weight at a minimum. The knife features a full flat ground blade made from CPM-15V, a premium tool steel that offers good edge retention. CPM-15V is not a stainless steel, so special care is required to maintain the blades finish..
