The Spyderco Paysan is a collaboration between and Spyderco and knifemaker Peter Rassenti to offer a production version of the custom Paysan.
The Paysan's unique saber ground sheepsfoot blade is constructed from CPM S90V steel, and features the Spyderco trademark round hole.
The Paysan's handle has been machined from one single piece of titanium and features a Reeve Integral Lock (framelock) with a steel lock face insert that also serves as an over travel stop. The handle has been shaped to provide a comfortable grip on the knife while remaining thin and easy to carry. The pocketclip is the hourglass shape that is often used by Spyderco and is configured for tip-up, right hand carry only.
