Who better to "cheat" the rules of typical folding pocket knife design other than world renowned Knife Designer Ken Onion, whose new Swindle design flows from tip to tail with the slightest of uphill curve. It innocently tricks the eye at first sight, but once in the hand the functional subtleties become apparent.
The frame lock mechanics and flipper style opener are neatly tucked into the handle, and the hollow ground, modified wharncliffe blade moves with ease thanks to the smooth IKBS pivot system. The IKBS innovation is arguably the strongest, smoothest pivot system on the market.
The Swindle comes in two versions, both with Razor Sharp Cutting Edges with two distinguished handles. The CRKTK240XXP in a flat, smooth handled version and the this, the CRKTK241XXP in a distinctive grooved handle. Both excellent selections for the refined knife enthusiast.
For carry, Ken went the extra mile with a clip design flowing from the tail end, back over the spine. The tension lever securely clips into the pocket and "nests" the knife for comfort.
If you are seeking a classy, slim everyday carry knife that "bends" the rules in your favor, the Swindle is a good bet.
