  • Mil-Spie 5 Fixed Blade PS

    $145.00
TOPS Mil-Spie 5 Partially Serrated Fixed Blade Knife The name Mil-SPIE is an acronym that the DOD came up with several years ago. It stands for (Military-Special Projects Individual Equipment) Pronounced "MIL SPY" This was to enable Special Operation Forces within the Military to help developed, test, evaluate, and acquire "out of the ordinary" and "outside of normal channels" items that they require. TOPS Knives is often approached by individual OPERATORS who advise us of their ideas and the criteria that needs to be met for their Unit or Team. This challenge was to develop a small and a large field knife with a fairly narrow carrying profile. It had to be strong and lightweight. With this criteria in mind TOPS created and named the Mil-SPIE Knives. Two sizes were developed: Mil-SPIE-3 and Mil-SPIE-5. This model -Mil-SPIE-5 - is more adept for belt or vest carry, while still maintaining a low profile. The scales are black linen micarta with TOPS dot dash dot pattern embedded in the handle. The handle scales are removable and the skeletonized knife is just as popular as the one with handles. The blade os coated with TOPS black traction coating. The sheath system is heavy duty kydex, which locks the knife in place in the closed position and has a spring steel clip for attachment in a variety of positions. • Grandpa's Ax

    $164.97
GRANDPA'S AX: Excellent mix of size, weight and chopping power. This is the kind of tool that gets passed down. In 2016, a challenge was issued to the employees of TOPS Knives. Whoever can design the best hatchet, tomahawk, or ax will get it approved as a design, be credited as the designer, and TOPS will produce it. This hatchet was the winner of that contest. The winner? Lorenzo Espinoza Sr. Lorenzo is Leo's father. Leo is the President of TOPS Knives, the main designer, and the guy who approves all outside designs. You know what they say: like father, like son. • Earth Skills

    $174.97
TOPS ESK01 Earth Skills Fixed Blade. The Earth Skills Knife was designed by Matt Graham, who is much more than just a "survivalist". He is an athlete - ultra-marathons, triathlons, rock climbing, etc., a martial artist - several styles, and an expert in primitive weapons, hunting, and shelters. He has more "dirt time" than almost anyone else out there. In keeping with the same theme as his first design through TOPS (the Little Bugger). It's thin with TOPS'; modified Scandi grind, a tumble finish and tan canvas Micarta handle scales. This one comes with a deep carry brown leather sheath that Matt designed based off some old Native American styles of sheath. It is meant to ride cross-draw, underneath the belt, towards the back side of the wearer. Please keep in mind, the stock of this tool is 1/8" thick. • Shadow Hunter

    $159.90

Remember the Shadow Hunter? That classic from the TOPS archives, a favorite of TOPS founder Mike.  Well, it's making a comeback, and it's not just a trip down memory lane.

This new version has slight modifications to make everything about it better. First, the blade is just a bit longer, which makes it look and perform better. The jimping was repositioned and updated. The finger choil was widened slightly to make it safer. Then the handles are a bit thicker with a better contour to make them much more comfortable for long use. The new finish is Cerakote instead of powder coat, and now it has a Coyote Tan Kydex sheath with a rotating clip. All these changes make this an excellent knife for hunting, camping , or even as a self-defense blade. It's the Shadow Hunter you loved, only better. This isn't just another knife. It's a piece of TOPS history, made relevant for today

  • Nata

    $175.75

Many useful tools have come from the Japanese over the years. The Nata (which translates in this context roughly to hatchet) is one that hasn’t seen as much of the limelight as weapons like the katana or EDC tools like the kiridashi. It was used primarily as a gardening tool, pruning or removing limbs from trees, clearing brush, and handling tasks that you might expect from a knife before power tools or modern tools existed. However, the Nata’s simplistic design compliments its functionality perfectly.

TOPS’ version of the Nata blends the traditional Japanese style with American grit. The wide rectangular blade keeps mass behind the entire length of the edge, which makes it chop better than most knives of its size. Chopping power is also enhanced by the canted handle. TOPS version has a standard flat grind on both sides of the blade rather than the chisel or single-beveled style that many Japanese tools have. It is also a full-tang knife just like all TOPS fixed-blades are. The thick, well-contoured handles provide a comfortable grip and the simple out-the-front sheath makes it easy to carry and use around the house, the ranch, the campsite, or wherever else you may find yourself.

The Sheep Creek has a flat grind that will prove worthy of light Bushcraft and camp tasks as well as food prep around the camp site. • Missile Strike 01 PRE-OWNED

    $139.90

    PRE-OWNED:

Folks, this knife is really nice.  No signs of carry or use.  Original factory edge.  Probably been in and out of sheath a few times but that looks like all.  You won't be dissapointed in this PRE-OWNED MISSILE STRIKE.  Comes in the TOPS plastic bag with whistle and certificate.

The Missile Strike is a great combination of combat and utility. Its narrow blade with long swedge allows for great penetrating stabs (the swedge can be sharpened upon request). The 1/4” thickness provides enough weight to add some power in stabbing, slashing, and when smashing using the pointed pommel. There is a very generous finger guard to ensure that your hand will not slip onto the blade.

Given that the knife will likely be used as a utility tool more often than not, there are features that were included to facilitate that use. The comfortable Micarta handle scales will stand up to use and provide excellent grip. There is a choil so you can choke up for finer tasks, and it’s made from 1095 steel, which holds a great edge, and is easy to re-sharpen in the field (a must for those who don’t always have a proper sharpening system handy). It comes with a tan Kydex sheath that has great retention, but still allows for a solid grip from the moment it’s drawn.

    $159.90

    PRE-OWNED:

Folks, this knife is really nice.  No signs of carry or use.  Original factory edge.  Probably been in and out of sheath a few times but that looks like all.  You won't be dissapointed in this PRE-OWNED OPERATOR 7-03.  Comes in the TOPS plastic bag with whistle and certificate.

The Operator 7 is huge! We went big with thick steel and handles to make a hefty, well-balanced knife that will excel as a workhorse tool. But it also has those classic American fighting knife aesthetics that make it look every bit as good as it will perform.

Made out of 5/16" thick 1075, the differentially heat treated blade will be impact resistant on the edge with a very strong spine. The handles start with Tan Canvas Micarta on the bottom sandwiched with Black G10 on top that has a great texture for grip. The entire handle is also over 1" thick once assembled to fill out the user's hand much like an ax or hatchet handle would.

Because it is a tool, it’s got to be useful and it's got to be comfortable. It's made for the fighters that don't back down. This knife will find its place with door kickers, survivalists, and weekend warriors alike. The rounded handles and hand guard make it a joy to use and the finger choil allows the user to get great precision for finer cuts. The six and a half inches of cutting edge will suffice for the vast majority of cutting tasks, and the weight will help the knife to a lot of the work itself. Operat

  • El Chete Midnight Bronze...

    $219.00

TOPS ELCH-04 El Chete Midnight Bronze - Black Kydex Sheath with leather dangler.

How does TOPS define destruction? El Chete. This blade was designed with one thought in mind... chopping. With a 1/4" thick blade that is a full foot long, it will do that very well. Even though it's so large, the knife still weighs in under 2 pounds.  TOPS wanted the handles to be thick enough to fill each user's hand like a hatchet or small ax handle would, so they decided to use sandwiched Micarta. It's well rounded for comfort and the black canvas Micarta underneath the green canvas Micarta adds even more to the aesthetics of this piece. The sheath is an out-the-front design with all the bells and whistles. You just pull up slightly then out the front so that you don't have to strain to pull the knife all the way up through the sheath. There is a strap that when snapped into place, helps immensely with the retention of the blade. TOPS also made this model with black Kydex sheath with leather dangler. If you're in the market for a large knife, you've definitely found it.
