The ergonomically shaped handle is injection molded from virtually indestructible nylon. The grooves running lenghtwise on the handle are of sufficient depth and width to enable an extremely secure grip. Per Col. Applegate's instructions, steel weights are positioned carefully inside the handle to provide proper feel and balance. The blade is crafted from premium 440-C stainless steel with a Rockwell rating of 58 HRC. Black Handle. Each cross guard is serial numbered.
