Cold Steel 32AA Oyabun Limited Edition
Lynn C. Thompson Signature Knife - The Oyabun Limited is a high-end collectible version of our Oyabun. It shares features in common with the standard model in terms of functionality and appearance but differs markedly in the materials used in its construction. It also has the value of being a collectible keepsake in that only 3500 have been produced. Each is individually serial numbered, and each box will be personally signed by Lynn C. Thompson himself! The premium S35VN steel in the blade is a costly powdered steel that is heat treated to Rc 59-60 and sub zero quenched. It has been given an attractive two-tone line grain finish on the blade flats, and a high satin polish on the blade bevels. Most noticeably, the handle frame is milled from two solid billets of 6061 aluminum to create the bolster and pommel, which have been given a fine mirror polished finish. The handle also features CNC machined G-10 slabs with a diamond checkering pattern for a good secure grip.
