Sebenza means "work" in Zulu and these knives are intended to do just that. Built with handcrafted care at a production level, the Sebenza 31 has earned a worldwide reputation for rock solid performance and a 'bank vault' feel. Offered with a Chad Nichols Stainless Bommerang Damascus hollow-ground blade at a 57-58 RC, the Sebenza 31's blade will retain a sharp edge with easy maintenance. The Sebenza 31 uses the Reeve Integral Lock, which is a lock bar integral to the back handle. Pre-bending at the end of the slot causes the spring to move to the base of the blade, thereby locking the blade open.

The stonewashed titanium handle features a green carbon fiber composite overlay on both sides. In addition to the engaging green overlay, the handle also features ridged machining at the top that follows the handle's angular contours, both front and back. A sturdy frame lock with hardened steel lockbar insert provides a secure lockup. Jimping at top and bottom of the handle enhances grip. This handsome handle is paired with a 3.75-inch, clip-point blade of CPM 20CV high-chromium stainless steel. This powdered metallurgy tool steel has a high volume of vanadium carbides for exceptional wear resistance - and a truly long-lasting edge. In addition to the titanium handle, the 0562TI offers a premium CPM 20CV steel blade with Rick's exclusive Hinderer "slicer" grind. This blade grind gives you both slicing efficiency and a tough point. The 20CV powdered steel blade provides high wear resistance and corrosion resistance - enabling a hair-popping edge that lasts for a long time, even under hard use. For good looks, ZT gives the blade a stonewashed finish on the flats and a machine satin finish on the grinds. The knife opens with a flipper and moves out of the handle on the smooth KVT ball-bearing opening system.
