FrameLock Knives

The Spydiechef was designed by Polish custom knifemaker Marcin Slysz. The Spydiechef is a highly evolved folding knife design that takes the user-friendly and deft balance of a world-class chef's knife and translates them into an all-purpose everyday carry cutting tool. The defining feature of the Spydiechef is its gracefully curved, full flat ground ultra-corrosion-resistang blade which is machined from LC200N steel. This blade provides an exceptional blend of toughness, edge holding and corrosion resistance. The open backed handle is built with two precision-machined solid titanium scales. The knife incorporates the Reeve Integral Lock framelock. Reversable deep pocket wire clip provides convenient ambidextrous, tip-up carry. Like the blade and titanium handles, the pocket clip, screws and all other component parts are machined from highly corrosion-resistant alloys. The Spyderco Paysan is a collaboration between and Spyderco and knifemaker Peter Rassenti to offer a production version of the custom Paysan. The Paysan's unique saber ground sheepsfoot blade is constructed from CPM S90V steel, and features the Spyderco trademark round hole. The Paysan's handle has been machined from one single piece of titanium and features a Reeve Integral Lock (framelock) with a steel lock face insert that also serves as an over travel stop. The handle has been shaped to provide a comfortable grip on the knife while remaining thin and easy to carry. The pocketclip is the hourglass shape that is often used by Spyderco and is configured for tip-up, right hand carry only.
