Spyderco C249TIP Swayback Inspired by 19th century English Jack knives, the sway back pattern is a stylish and extremely functional cutting tool. In his latest Spyderco collaboration, renowned Polish knifemaker Marcin Slysz supercharges this classic design by rendering it with state-of-the-art materials and craftsmanship. The SwayBacks hollow-ground Wharncliffe blade is crafted from CTS® XHP stainless steel and has a handsome stonewashed finish. It is housed in an open-backed handle constructed with solid titanium scales. Both scales are beautifully crowned for comfort and the reverse-side scale forms the foundation of a sturdy Reeve Integral Lock (R.I.L.) with a stainless steel interface. A polished stainless steel clip provides convenient carry and is reversible for left or right-side tip-up access. The Spyderco Paysan is a collaboration between and Spyderco and knifemaker Peter Rassenti to offer a production version of the custom Paysan. The Paysan's unique saber ground sheepsfoot blade is constructed from CPM S90V steel, and features the Spyderco trademark round hole. The Paysan's handle has been machined from one single piece of titanium and features a Reeve Integral Lock (framelock) with a steel lock face insert that also serves as an over travel stop. The handle has been shaped to provide a comfortable grip on the knife while remaining thin and easy to carry. The pocketclip is the hourglass shape that is often used by Spyderco and is configured for tip-up, right hand carry only.
