The impressive Pilot Knife from US knifemaker Dave Wenger is a fully-grown outdoor and survival knife with a tactical orientation. The massive D2 blade is extremely edge-resistant, robust and also has an abrasion-resistant powder coating. The military character of this fixed blade is underlined by the groove on both sides and the distinctive sawback. The ergonomic G10 handle scales promise a comfortable grip and a secure hold in any situation. Decorative hollow brass studs help to save weight and can also be used as a lanyard hole. Supplied with a custom-fit Kydex sheath and a belt clip.

As a further development of the Navaja knives brought by the Spanish settlers, the Texas variant has a strikingly long blade and a generally slim design. These features predestined the Texas Tooth Pick for a variety of tasks. Boker Plus reinterprets the popular design and provides the Urban Texas Tooth Pick with the usual innovative performance. Purist design and surgical precision as an expression of "haute coutellerie". The French knifemaker Charles de Buyer is known for his designs that are reduced to the essentials and at the same time promise a high utility value. The fixed knife is designed as an all-steel construction and features exciting details. Jimpings on the back of the edge-retaining D2 blade improve handling, while the nail nick and the pronounced ricasso add decorative accents. The flat handle of the Gekai gives a comfortable feel in the hand and has two large recesses at the end of the handle that save weight and can be used as a lanyard hole. Supplied with a custom-fit Kydex sheath and a belt adapter.

From a collection: Original c1992 Al Mar Special Warfare 1 (3101) fixed blade knife. Features a 6 1/8" satin finished plain edge stainless blade (probably VG-10 - but I'm not sure I remember that). Titanwood laminate palm-swell handles. Brass guard. 11 1/8" overall. Knife has never been carried, used or sharpened. Handle has the smallest of a chip that was lost during the drilling for lanyard tube. Not uncommon on laminate handles. Not very noticable, but just letting you know it's there. Original leather sheath that has never been out of it's factory plastic bag. (So this knife has never even been sheathed before) Numbered pre-production piece. Knife, cardboard blade sleave and box all bear original number. Original box is solid - but, here is the bad news - It shows storage wear, some staining and some scrapes....still solid, still original, but like me, just not pretty. Priced accordingly. Pristine knife as it came from Seki City - including the chip in handle - character some might say. Sheath brand new. Box, rather ratty looking. Side note - we sold this knife new c.1992. NOTE: While in excellent condition except as noted, be advised this knife is from a collection, so please consider it used.

The up-and-coming German knife designer Simon Frömel is no stranger to Boker. He has already caused a sensation in the past with the Boker Plus Rescue Kiridashi. His next coup is certain: the Boker Plus Bad Moon is a fixed Karambit knife with a minimalist look and maximum functionality. The all-steel construction is equipped with a Hawkbill blade made of extreme edge retention D2, the lines of which continue in the curved handle and thus guarantee very efficient use. The entire knife is enhanced with a dark stonewash finish. Typical for this type of knife is the large ring at the end of the handle, which guarantees a secure hand position and can also be used as a lanyard hole.
