In the 19th century, the Texas Tooth Pick knife was widespread, especially among farmers and daring soldiers of fortune. A further development of the Navaja knives brought by the Spanish settlers, the Texas version has a strikingly long blade and a generally slender design. These characteristics predestined the Texas Tooth Pick for a variety of tasks. From agricultural purposes such as taking samples to determine the quality of fruit and vegetables, to filleting fish, to the adrenaline-fuelled duels of daredevil duelists, the gentleman's knife covered a wide spectrum. Boker re-interprets the popular design and provides the Urban Texas Tooth Pick with the usual innovative performance. The flipper opens the ball-bearing VG-10 blade with hairline finish in a silky smooth manner and gives the daily cutting tasks a proper spur. In contrast to its historical predecessor, the gentleman's knife is reliably locked in place with a linerlock and thus significantly increases work safety. The curved handle scales are made of exquisite Cocobolo wood and ensure a perfect grip as well as a classic look. The tip-up clip (r) has a stonewash finish and is milled from solid wood. Delivered with a touch of the Wild West.
