  Introducing the Spartan-Harsey Folder in the “Artemis” edition. This project represents some of Spartan's finest craftsmanship to date. It took  nearly a year to meticulously work out design and practical laser carving to practically manufacture this piece, with a staggering 9 hours of laser run time dedicated to its creation. While it is not currently feasible to produce on a regular basis Spartan produced six of these custom masterpieces in 2024.

The Spartan-Harsey Folder or “SHF” is Spartan Blades first folder collaboration with world renowned knife maker, William "Bill" Harsey Jr. The SHF was produced with the combined goal of creating a sturdy folding knife that could be used for a variety of tasks. This blade can be used for every day carry or as a sturdy field knife. Except for the blade, barrel pivot, and Stop pin, all the parts on the knife are titanium! The ergonomic handle is specifically designed with comfort and confidence of grip and has that signature “Harsey Look”.

  This particular knife is engraved with a multi colored dragon that is meant to represent good luck, strength, and health in all that you do. It is anodized blue with several laser anodized colors to give the knife a sense of movement when reflecting light during movement.

Spartan-Rōnin Shintō - Shinto meaning, “The practice of establishing a connection between the ways of the old and the ways of the new.” This knife is a great balance of old and new design and form making for a highly functional combat knife. Tu Lam is a retired Special Forces soldier, "Green Beret" and teammate of the Spartan Blades founders during their time in Okinawa where they worked as snipers; Tu Lam was part of an assault troop in the same company. Tu Lam has quickly become the “Go to” authority to military and law enforcement training and is the power house behind RONIN Tactics, Inc., an organization that trains many of the top tier military and law enforcement units in the world in H2H and knife techniques.

Spartan Harsey TT – The Harsey TT (Tactical Trout) was designed to be a very comfortable and robust mid-sized knife for most field tasks and defensive use. The TT’s size makes it easy to carry and wield. The spear point profile has a flat ground main bevel with a tapered top grind. The blade profile provides for a clean cutting edge with excellent tip strength. The Harsey TT’s full tang and handle provide for neutral balance in the user’s hand. The contoured ergonomic linen Micarta handle provides for a comfortable confident grip when wet or dry. The pommel has a lanyard hole in the middle of its angled tip. A great all around fixed blade, the TT is well balanced in its size, function and feel. Possibly one of William Harsey's best designs.
