 In the 19th century, the Texas Tooth Pick knife was widespread, especially among farmers and daring soldiers of fortune. A further development of the Navaja knives brought by the Spanish settlers, the Texas version has a strikingly long blade and a generally slender design. These characteristics predestined the Texas Tooth Pick for a variety of tasks. From agricultural purposes such as taking samples to determine the quality of fruit and vegetables, to filleting fish, to the adrenaline-fuelled duels of daredevil duelists, the gentleman's knife covered a wide spectrum. Boker re-interprets the popular design and provides the Urban Texas Tooth Pick with the usual innovative performance. The flipper opens the ball-bearing VG-10 blade with hairline finish in a silky smooth manner and gives the daily cutting tasks a proper spur. In contrast to its historical predecessor, the gentleman's knife is reliably locked in place with a linerlock and thus significantly increases work safety. The up-and-coming German knife designer Simon Frömel is no stranger to Boker. He has already caused a sensation in the past with the Boker Plus Rescue Kiridashi. His next coup is certain: the Boker Plus Bad Moon is a fixed Karambit knife with a minimalist look and maximum functionality. The all-steel construction is equipped with a Hawkbill blade made of extreme edge retention D2, the lines of which continue in the curved handle and thus guarantee very efficient use. The entire knife is enhanced with a dark stonewash finish. Typical for this type of knife is the large ring at the end of the handle, which guarantees a secure hand position and can also be used as a lanyard hole. Supplied with a custom-made Kydex sheath and a ball chain for use as a neck knife.
