TOPS Bestia whopping fixed blade chopper.

  The Bestia was born by melding El Chete - already one of TOPS' most popular workhorses - with a kukri, to create a true beast in chopping ability. The long, forward curved blade and weight behind it bites deep with each swing and the tan traction powder coating will protect the blade for years to come. The handle is also long enough to hold in 2 positions. One for full on chopping and one for more controlled and even fine cuts. What really makes this knife comfortable to wield are the sandwiched Micarta handles that are thick, but well-contoured. The open-backed Kydex sheath with a leather dangler attachment make it easy to carry given its size.

Knife is near mint.   Knife and Sheath show no signs of use or carry.  Original factory edge.  I do see some darkening of handle material around the screws...probably from oil used to preserve the edge of the 1095 blade.  This is not uncommon - Does not affect use at all.

From a collection: Nice Vintage John Primble three blade Small Stockman (5390 -Star). Brown Delrin handles I think. Nickel Silver Bolsters. Brass pins and liners. Clip blade etched 'John Primble Finest Steel' Tang Stamp John Primble Belknaf Inc. No signs of carry or use. Appears to have original factory edge. Only flaw I see is a small mark on logo side of Clip blade - may have come from factory like this, not sure.. From a collection: Vintage Cattaraugus two blade Sunfish or Elephant Toe folder. Appears to be a 22929 pattern. Yellow Waterfall Celluoid handles in great shape for their age. Held on with 8 small pins and 1 pivot pin at bottom, Cattaraugus tang stamp is present but difficult to read. Knife has been carried, used and sharpened. I have not made any attempt to clean this up. Not sure of the age, but expect it is old. I could not find a waterfall celluoid comp to price this, but feel I have landed at a good price point considering what beat-up bone handles are going for in the secondary market. --Ships in padded zippered case.
