Spyderco C101PYL2 Manix 2. A recipe for folding knife success: Start with hard-use rated lock. Add a blade made of Premium Magnacut steel. Manufacture it in Golden, Colorado using precise tolerances then add a healthy dash of American innovation. These ingredients are the Manix 2; a concoction of solo features and when combined, make one of the strongest knives from Spyderco to date. Patented by Spyderco, the Manix 2 has a Ball Bearing Lock. It's a hardened free-floating ball bearing contained in a custom hi-tech polymer cage. The round ball bearing allows the lock to self adjust across a large surface, smoothly and consistently locking-up with solid confidence. Evolving over time, the Ball Bearing Lock's strength withstands hard work with a secure, versatile and comfortable grip. Ergonomics are peerless in this design.   Designed by Israeli goldsmith and custom knifemaker Nati Amor, the Subvert faithfully translates his handcrafted “Sabotage” folder into a premium-quality production knife. This elite Sprint Run™ expression of it further elevates the design by rendering its dramatically styled, full-flat-ground blade in CPM 20CV. This highly wear resistant, powder metallurgy stainless steel contains a high volume of vanadium carbides and the highest amount of chromium of any vanadium-rich stainless steel currently available, giving it a remarkable combination of edge retention, corrosion resistance, and toughness.
