Cold Steel's® Ti-Lite® evoke the sleek speed and rebellious lines of the classic 1950's switchblade. Often imitated, but never equaled, the Ti-Lite® (designed by the late, great Phil Boguszewski) is a masterpiece of performance and style. The Ti-Lite® is equipped with Cold Steel's stainless-steel leaf spring locks (proven, in tests, to hold upwards of 145 lbs). For ease of carry, the Ti-Lites® come equipped with a small, but unobtrusive steel pocket clip, and can be opened rapidly by using the thumb studs or by snagging a quillon on the edge of your pocket as you draw your knife out. Fans of the Ti-Lite series knives are sure to be enthused by the arrival of new Kris styled blades. The handles are made of Griv-Ex in a flat dark earth color

Ti-Lite tactical folders evoke the sleek speed and rebellious lines of the classic 1950's-styled switchblade. Unlike most switchblades however, they are legal to carry nearly everywhere. They feature American S35VN Alloy blades with Bead Blast razor sharp edges and sturdy, needle sharp points. The handles are made of high quality Black Aluminum. And for maximum strength and safety, Cold Steel has equipped the Ti-Lites with their patent pending, stainless steel leaf spring locks (proven, in their tests, to hold 130 lbs). For ease of carry, the Ti-Lites come equipped with a small, but unobtrusive steel pocket clip, and can be opened rapidly by using the thumb studs or by snagging a quillon on the edge of your pocket as you draw your knife out. We are grateful to custom knife maker, Phil Boguszewski, for his design influence and help in the creation of the Ti-Lites.

The ergonomically shaped handle is injection molded from virtually indestructible nylon. The grooves running lenghtwise on the handle are of sufficient depth and width to enable an extremely secure grip. Per Col. Applegate's instructions, steel weights are positioned carefully inside the handle to provide proper feal and balance. The blade is crafted from premium 440-C stainless steel with a Rockwell rating of 58 HRC. Desert Tan handle. Each blackened cross guard is serial numbered. The dimensions and shape of the RBB Training Tool match the successful Boker Plus Reality Based Recurve model to ensure realistic training. The "cutting edge" and the impact surface of the handle are equipped with a rugged, wear-resistant surface that can be marked with the included blue and red pens (commercial lipstick can be used as an alternative). All contact can therefore be clearly documented, and due to the different colors can also be directly associated with the edge, the spine, or the pommel of the training knife.
