A dream to use for any length of time it has a Olive Drab Green glass-filled nylon (GFN) handle that is thin and ergonomically pleasing and features a steel pocket clip. Cold Steel 62RQ 4-Max Scout. The original 4 Max proved to be all that you hoped for. But it was expensive and difficult to manufacture and deliver in a timely manner to meet customer demand. The 4 Max Scout is easier to produce and is a far more affordable alternative. It features an extra wide, drop point blade and stone wash finish, which is identical to the original 4 Max. It's crafted from 5mm thick AUS 10A steel, for strength, toughness and edge holding potential. The handle's silhouette mirrors the original. Instead of a G-10 handle the 4 Max Scout has one made of Griv-Ex with stainless steel liners and a Griv-Ex back spacer. Equipped with Andrew Demko's ground breaking Tri-Ad locking mechanism the 4 Max Scout has passed every one of Cold Steel's grueling shock and impact tests and then gone on to hold 600 lbs. of free hanging weight with no damage! Ti-Lite tactical folders evoke the sleek speed and rebellious lines of the classic 1950's-styled switchblade. Unlike most switchblades however, they are legal to carry nearly everywhere. They feature American S35VN Alloy blades with DLC (Diamond Like Coating), razor sharp edges and sturdy, needle sharp points. The handles are made of high quality G-10. And for maximum strength and safety, Cold Steel has equipped the Ti-Lites with their patent pending, stainless steel leaf spring locks (proven, in their tests, to hold 130 lbs). For ease of carry, the Ti-Lites come equipped with a small, but unobtrusive steel pocket clip, and can be opened rapidly by using the thumb studs or by snagging a quillon on the edge of your pocket as you draw your knife out. Cold Steel 32AA Oyabun Limited Edition
Lynn C. Thompson Signature Knife - The Oyabun Limited is a high-end collectible version of our Oyabun. It shares features in common with the standard model in terms of functionality and appearance but differs markedly in the materials used in its construction. It also has the value of being a collectible keepsake in that only 3500 have been produced. Each is individually serial numbered, and each box will be personally signed by Lynn C. Thompson himself! The premium S35VN steel in the blade is a costly powdered steel that is heat treated to Rc 59-60 and sub zero quenched. It has been given an attractive two-tone line grain finish on the blade flats, and a high satin polish on the blade bevels. Most noticeably, the handle frame is milled from two solid billets of 6061 aluminum to create the bolster and pommel, which have been given a fine mirror polished finish. The handle also features CNC machined G-10 slabs with a diamond checkering pattern for a good secure grip.
