The Military™ 2 is a follow-up to the renowned Military Model™, designed specifically to meet the needs of those in service. The second-generation design boasts various improvements that make it an ideal cutting tool for duty-bound applications. In this version, the blade is coated with a stealthy Diamond-Like Carbon (DLC) finish, ensuring zero reflection in operational environments where light discipline is crucial. To complement the blade's DLC coating, the handle's stainless steel liners, pocket clip, and hardware are also treated with matching black coatings. Available in all three edge configurations, this all-black rendition of the Military 2 represents the perfect balance between low profile aesthetics and exceptional performance.

This limited-edition version of the Delica 4 Lightweight features Carpenter Technologys Micro-Melt PD1, an air-hardening, cold-work die steel designed for superior wear resistance and toughness. Its advanced alloy composition is enhanced by the CarTech Micro-Melt powder metal process, ensuring an ultra-fine, homogeneous grain structure. Comparable to CPM CRU-WEAR, this high-performance steel forms the core of the knifes full-flat-ground PlainEdge blade. The blade is coated with a non-reflective titanium carbonitride (TiCN) coating for added distinction, and the fiberglass-reinforced-nylon (FRN) handle is molded in a deep burgundy color. Complementing the black-and-burgundy theme, the four-position pocket clip, lock bar, and handle hardware are also finished with durable black coatings. Seki City.

When Spyderco introduced the first Sprint Run™ Shaman® combining the traditional look of brown canvas Micarta scales and CPM CRU-WEAR blade steel, we were overwhelmed by the response. Later dubbed “CruCarta,” this distinctive pairing of old-school, high-performance materials became an instant classic. To ensure we could meet customer demand when we applied the “CruCarta” treatment to other models, we decided to make them full-line products, not limited editions. We began with the Para Military 2 and are now proud to add four more USA-made models to this elite family. All feature skeletonized full stainless steel liners, slim brown canvas Micarta scales, and CPM CRU-WEAR tool steel blades that offer an outstanding balance of edge retention and toughness. The scales of all these knives are sanded smooth but left unpolished, so they will naturally patina with age and handling to develop their own unique character.

The best-selling Tenacious model is not only the flagship of Spyderco’s Value Folder line; it has also earned a rightful place as one of the most iconic folding knives we have ever produced. The second-generation Military 2 enhances the venerable Military model with the addition of a high-strength Compression Lock® mechanism and the versatility of a four-position pocket clip. This expression of it raises the bar even higher with a blade crafted from Spyderco’s proprietary CPM SPY27 steel. Starting with the time-tested alloy formula of VG-10 stainless steel, SPY27 increases the volumes of carbon, molybdenum, and vanadium and adds niobium and nitrogen. Crucible® Industries’ state-of-the-art particle metallurgy manufacturing process then ensures a uniform distribution of these alloys throughout the steel.
