The up-and-coming German knife designer Simon Frömel is no stranger to Boker. He has already caused a sensation in the past with the Boker Plus Rescue Kiridashi. His next coup is certain: the Boker Plus Bad Moon is a fixed Karambit knife with a minimalist look and maximum functionality. The all-steel construction is equipped with a Hawkbill blade made of extreme edge retention D2, the lines of which continue in the curved handle and thus guarantee very efficient use. The entire knife is enhanced with a dark stonewash finish. Typical for this type of knife is the large ring at the end of the handle, which guarantees a secure hand position and can also be used as a lanyard hole. The Trail Knife may be a near perfect size fixed blade field knife. Not too small - not too large. The flat ground 440C blade is durable in the field and easy to maintain. The handle design of walnut over full tang features an inlayed area with a measure of paracord to both add purchase to the handle and cordage if ever needed in the field. Leather belt sheath with dangler makes this knife easy to carry in the field or ride with in/on your vehicle. Nice touch!
