$175.00The Spyderco Waterway was designed by knife enthusiast and professional kayak fisherman Lance Clinton. The Waterway is the result of Clinton's vision for an ultra corrosion resistant knife for fishing tasks, that would still remain well suited to general outdoor and utility use. To achieve that vision, the Waterway is contructed from LC200N steel, a state of the art high nitrogen alloyed tool steel that offers extreme corrosion resistance and toughness even at high hardness. To maximize it's strength and balance, the Waterway features full tang construction. The G10 handle scales have been 3D machined with a raised diamond pattern to provide a non-slip grip in any environment. These scales are attached via a specialized process which uses blind pins and a high strength industrial adhesive to ensure a permanent, water tight bond. The Waterway ships with a custom molded Boltaron sheath with a versatile G-Clip attachment. The snap-fit sheath retains the knife securely, while still allowing a smoth draw and easy access to the knife. The G-Clip can be configured to provide a full range of carry options.
