The ergonomically shaped handle is injection molded from virtually indestructible nylon. The grooves running lenghtwise on the handle are of sufficient depth and width to enable an extremely secure grip. Per Col. Applegate's instructions, steel weights are positioned carefully inside the handle to provide proper feel and balance. The blade is crafted from premium 440-C stainless steel with a Rockwell rating of 58 HRC. Black Handle. Each cross guard is serial numbered. All metal parts are matte black to provide a non-reflective finish. Blade length: 6". Overall length: 11". Sturdy black belt sheath. NOTE: This knife is double-edged. Both edges are sharpened. $22.46In keeping with the reality-based concept of the Boker Plus RBB Series, this innovative training and color marking knife was developed in collaboration with Jim Wagner. The dimensions and shape of the RBB Training Tool match the successful Boker Plus Reality Based Recurve model to ensure realistic training. The "cutting edge" and the impact surface of the handle are equipped with a rugged, wear-resistant surface that can be marked with the included blue and red pens (commercial lipstick can be used as an alternative). All contact can therefore be clearly documented, and due to the different colors can also be directly associated with the edge, the spine, or the pommel of the training knife.
