Each knife is manufactured in the USA and all component parts and raw materials are purchased in the USA. Carbon steel knives are preferred by those who want a sharp, long-lasting edge. With use, the blades will develop a distinctive dark finish. This is not a defect, but rather your guarantee of genuine high carbon steel. As with all quality cutlery, never let Old Hickory knives sit in water or place them in a dishwasher. Simply wash the knives and dry them thoroughly.

Original Jody Samson edge with hollow-grind. Has been opened and closed. Show around the pivot area and few scratches on the flat of the blade. Handles are near perfect. No dings or scratches on the frame or micarta inserts. NOTE: Wow - but be advised we obtained this from a collector, so please consider it used.
