Made from 0.188" thick 1095 Cro-Van steel, the kukri's 13.25" epoxy powder coated blade is proudly embellished with Hank Reinhardt's signature and coupled with Becker's distinct handle shape and a practical polyester sheath. Outdoor Edge Harpoon. This practical outdoor knife with cord-wrapped handle converts to a Harpoon/personal defense spear in seconds. Once converted, the Harpoon is an effective weapon for harvesting small game, birds and fish in any survival situation. Changes easily from knife to harpoon by slotting a green shaft with the sharp hawksbill end of the handle and tying the knife in or by screwing the accessory blade holder (included) onto a standard broom handle. The hollow handle holder serves as a storage compartment for fish hooks, line matches and other survival essentials (not included0. A liquid filled compass is built into the handle cap to navigate through unknown terrain. This heavy-duty chopper gets it's shape from it's older sibling, the Kukri Machete. At about 80% the size of the larger version, the Combat Kukri performs just as well at clearing brush and small tree limbs.
