Each knife is manufactured in the USA and all component parts and raw materials are purchased in the USA. Carbon steel knives are preferred by those who want a sharp, long-lasting edge. With use, the blades will develop a distinctive dark finish. This is not a defect, but rather your guarantee of genuine high carbon steel. As with all quality cutlery, never let Old Hickory knives sit in water or place them in a dishwasher. Simply wash the knives and dry them thoroughly. -

NOTE: Be advised the blade steel used in this hunter is true high carbon steel. While considered by many as a superior steel for a hunting or field knife, high carbon steel will rust. Keeping the blade clean, dry and lightly oiled will help preserve the finish. Any staining, rusting or discoloration is to be expected. -
