  • Mini Tracker

    $119.97

The fully-grown Boker Plus Tracker is now pulling out of its slipstream. The same materials, the same features, but an incomparable performance! The optimal balance of blade thickness and length as well as the ergonomic shape of the finely textured Micarta handle scales allow for fatigue-free work. • Mini Scandi

    $94.50

Originally designed from the Finnish sami knife, used by the Laplanders for all their hunting and bushcraft tasks. These knives have traditionally been flat ground, single or double sided, with a "zero-ground" edge ground to the edge.

It occurred to TOPS that a good idea is still a good idea in a smaller package. The Mini Scandi was a result of the very popular, original Brothers of Bushcraft (BROS-01) knife. It offers all the advantages of a modified Scandi grind in a neck knife, which makes it easily concealable. All of the cutting ability of a larger Scandi that can also fit in your pocket or pack.
SPECIFICATIONS:--Overall Length: 6.13"--Blade Thickness: 0.130"--Hardness: RC 56-58--Blade Finish: Black Traction Coating--Handle Material: Tan Canvas Micarta--Weight w/ Sheath: 3.8oz--Sheath Included: Yes--Sheath Material: Black Kydex--Designer: Leo Espinoza. USA

  • Mini Tanimboca Puuko

    $89.97

The Mini Tanimboca Puukko is a great tool for making bushcraft items (utensils, kuksa, baskets, blow guns, etc. are all things that Goran had in mind with this), whittling around the fire, and even accomplishing some EDC uses.
This knife is smaller than most and has no guard (so use caution). The knife can be held close to the cutting edge and in multiple grips. If you like making things with your hands especially in the woods, this knife is going to be a must-have. It has the classic Puukko look, but in a much, much smaller package. The spine is ground to 90 degrees for scraping tasks. Well-rounded Black Canvas Micarta handles make the handle comfortable despite its size. The brown leather sheath is set up for a tip-down neck carry, but also has a loop that will fit most belts.
The Mini Tanimboca Puukko was designed by Goran Mihajlovic, who also designed the original one made by TOPS. Goran is originally from Serbia but grew up in Germany. He has lived in Colombia now for many years. He owns a nature reserve called Tanimboca that houses hundreds if not thousands of species of plant, animal, and insect. Throughout his entire life, he has been a knife user and enthusiast. In recent years he has begun making knives at his forge in the Amazon jungle. He prefers Puukkos for their ability to perform well at large variety of cutting tasks.SPECIFICATIONS:--Overall Length: 4.00"--Blade Thickness: 0.090"--Hardness: RC 56-58--Blade Finish: Tumble Finish--Handle Material: Black Canvas Micarta--Weight w/ Sheath: 2.6oz--Sheath Included: Yes--Sheath Material: Brown Leather. • Old Hickory 8" Slicing Knife

    $15.97

    Old Hickory 8" Slicer

First introduced in 1924, the Old Hickory® knives are the most venerable product line still in active production. The Old Hickory® knives feature a hardwood handle secured with brass compression rivets to 1075 carbon steel blades that are both very sharp and capable of retaining an edge better than most stainless knives. Proudly manufactured with artisan processes for over 90 years, Old Hickory® has stood the test of time and is proven to be the best carbon steel kitchen cutlery sold today.

    USE & CARE

Please note that the Old Hickory knives are made with carbon steel.  We have been making Old Hickory since the early 1900's.  Carbon steel knives require extra care to prevent rusting and oxidation of the surface.  Old Hickory should not be placed in a dishwasher or allowed to soak in a sink.  We recommend cleaning the blade with a damp sponge or cloth and dry thoroughly.  Some people go a step further and apply a light coating of vegetable oil to the blades surface. If your blade shows signs of rust, use some steel wool to remove it and then apply some oil to the blade.   To keep the blade razor sharp, use a honing steel, sometimes referred to as sharpening steel, or sharpening stick. After years of use, the steel blade will develop a patina, a darkening which is desirable and an indication of its age.  Old Hickory knives are durable and affordable, but do require special care.

It is the user's responsibility to keep the blades properly lubricated and cleaned. ESEE Knives suggest using a dry film rust inhibitor such as Tuf-Glide or Tuf-Cloth. We use it here in the store and at home. Great stuff.
