The ergonomically shaped handle is injection molded from virtually indestructible nylon. The grooves running lenghtwise on the handle are of sufficient depth and width to enable an extremely secure grip. Per Col. Applegate's instructions, steel weights are positioned carefully inside the handle to provide proper feel and balance. The blade is crafted from premium 440-C stainless steel with a Rockwell rating of 58 HRC. Black Handle. Each cross guard is serial numbered. All metal parts are matte black to provide a non-reflective finish. Blade length: 6". Overall length: 11". Sturdy black belt sheath. NOTE: This knife is double-edged. Both edges are sharpened. Features an almost 7mm super thick polished plain edge blade of Bohler N690 steel. Milled black micarta handle scales over red liners and full tang construction. Hand fitted black Kydex sheath and Tek-Lok allows for multiple carry positions.
