The blade made of 1095 carbon steel and Scandi grind is coated with an abrasion-resistant powder coating that offers excellent corrosion protection. The contoured micarta handle scales provide a firm grip in any situation and are fitted with three hollow brass studs, which can also be used as a lanyard hole. The Trail Knife may be a near perfect size fixed blade field knife. Not too small - not too large. The flat ground 440C blade is durable in the field and easy to maintain. The handle design of walnut over full tang features an inlayed area with a measure of paracord to both add purchase to the handle and cordage if ever needed in the field.
