Now this classic design is back as a limited-edition Sprint Run, showcasing a gray-colored fiberglass-reinforced-nylon (FRN) handle and a full-flat-ground PlainEdge™ or SpyderEdge™ blade crafted from CPM CRU-WEAR. Specially formulated to offer both superior wear resistance and toughness, CRU-WEAR’s advanced alloy composition is further enhanced by the Crucible Particle Metallurgy (CPM) process to ensure an ultra-fine, extremely homogeneous grain structure. Faithful to the original, the knife’s ergonomic handle is injection molded directly onto the tang of the blade and features a series of bilateral “dimples” to enhance its texture and provide pivot points for grip-change maneuvers. This remarkable resurrection of the Temperance comes complete with a custom-molded Boltaron® sheath with a versatile G-Clip™ attachment.

Instead of a LinerLock, the Military 2’s Serrated Black DLC finished full-flatground CPM® S30V® blade is supported by Spyderco’s signature Compression Lock® mechanism, which offers greater strength and even safer one-handed operation. The stainless steel liners that form the foundation of the lock are larger, giving the knife increased structural strength and anchoring its four-position pocket clip, which is configurable for left or right-side, tip-up or tip-down carry. Case XX 1989 Centennial large Gunstock with Gold Stone celluloid handles. Polished Embellished Spear and Pen blades.
Most of the Gold Stone celluloid handle knives show considerable discoloration from off-gassing. This gunstock's handle is in average condition : front and back scale show noticeable green discoloration of the gold stone layer. Priced accordingly.
Never sold - you will be first owner of this rare knife. Ships in black presentation box. NOTE: While never sold, be advised this knife is already 35 years old.
