Case XX 1989 Centennial large Gunstock with Gold Stone celluloid handles.  Polished  Embellished Spear and Pen blades.  

Most of the Gold Stone celluloid handle knives show considerable discoloration from off-gassing.  This gunstock's handle is in average condition : front and back scale show noticeable green discoloration of the gold stone layer.  Priced accordingly.

The second-generation Military 2 enhances the venerable Military model with the addition of a high-strength Compression Lock® mechanism and the versatility of a four-position pocket clip. This expression of it raises the bar even higher with a blade crafted from Spyderco’s proprietary CPM SPY27 steel. Starting with the time-tested alloy formula of VG-10 stainless steel, SPY27 increases the volumes of carbon, molybdenum, and vanadium and adds niobium and nitrogen. Crucible® Industries’ state-of-the-art particle metallurgy manufacturing process then ensures a uniform distribution of these alloys throughout the steel. The result is an extremely homogenous microstructure that maximizes the steel’s edge holding, toughness, and corrosion resistance. To further distinguish this knife as a member of Spyderco’s elite SPY27 family, its handle features peel-ply-textured G-10 scales in a signature cobalt-blue color.
