Spyderco B03P Szabofly. This Szabofly needs a little explaining. Came in a collection and has been poorly stored. The knife looks like it has not been flipped much (some I am sure - who could resist, right). Looks to have original factory edge and the 154CM blade is in great condition. The bad part is the handles have significant scuffing on the original finish. The scuffs are NOT deep by any means, but are noticable. Spring latch works as it should. Flips as it should (told you it had been flipped). If this had a perfect finish, based on past sales on other sites, this would bring $1400.00. Crazy? Yes, but there we are. You get the original box and paperwork. Box signed by Laci Szabo! Bad news on the box is that while all there, it has been beat up considerably and the corners have been taped to get it back into usable shape.
Now, the good news - it is a "bargain" compared to a "mint" Szabofly. Can you talk Spyderco into refurbishing the handle finish? - I could not. Can you find a better looking box - maybe. Still a solid Szabofly even with all the bad.
NOTE: While the knife and box could be better, be advised we obtained this from a collection, so please consider it used.
