The blade is a slim, modified drop point with top swedge, machine satin finished on the grinds and satin sanded on the flats. The handle is lightweight G10 with a secure and weight-reducing inset liner lock. The handle inlay is carbon fiber, yes. But it is unlike other carbon fiber inlays you may have seen. To ensure your experience with the Atmos is cloud-smooth and blue-sky easy, Kershaw chamfered smoothed and angled the edges of the insert to make sure it feels comfortable when you hold it in your hand and that it glides into and out of your pocket smoothly and easily, too. Designed by Dmitry Sinkevich, the Atmos features Sinkevichs characteristic clean and practical design but enhanced with extra detailing. In addition to the chamfered carbon-fiber inlay, it also has a custom oversized pivot, a backspacer with wide lanyard attachment, and a reversible, deep-carry pocketclip. This manual knife opens quickly and easily with Kershaws KVT ball-bearing opening system. Tradition meets modern design in the Esteem. This non-locking slipjoint knife features a double detent system: two steel detent balls, one on each side of the blade. They hold the blade safely closed for carrying. Then, for controlled open and close, the Esteem also has a half-open position. Where have you seen this profile before? Thats right. The new Kershaw Natrix is based on brother brand Zero Tolerances 0770, which itself was inspired by the award-winning ZT 0777. The design has apparently been the envy of certain other knifemakers. And now were taking it back. Kershaws new Natrix features a drop-point blade of 8Cr13MoV that offers solid performance with good edge-holding and easy resharpening. The stonewashed blade finish looks good and even helps hide use scratches. Accessed with the built-in flipper, SpeedSafe assisted opening makes it easy to open the Natrix one-handed so its always ready when you need it. The handle is lightweight G-10, 3D-machined and chamfered to fit comfortably in the hand. An oversized pivot provides an attention-grabbing detail on the front of the knife, while our patented Sub-Frame Lock secures the blade and provides a dramatic, contrasting line on the back. The Kershaw Sub-Frame Lock is covered under US Patent 69.120.234. The Sub-Frame Lock design also enables us to lighten the weight of the Natrix, so that you get a big, useful blade in a knife that still weighs in at a mere 2.9 ounces. A decorative aluminum backspacer lightens the load even further and adds another embellishment.
