Features an almost 7mm super thick polished plain edge blade of Bohler N690 steel. Milled black micarta handle scales over red liners and full tang construction. Hand fitted black Kydex sheath and Tek-Lok allows for multiple carry positions.

KLOTZLI Loadmaster Fixed Blade The Loadmaster is a strong and compact field knife that can tackle most any challenge - in the field or at home. The Klotzli LoadMaster knife was designed by Samuel Klotzli according to the needs of the Swiss Air Force's Loadmasters. This full tang knife is 7 1/2" overall with a 3" blade. It is hand ground of stonewashed Bohler N690 stainless steel. The LoadMaster's blade is 1/8" thick and weighs only 2 1/4 ounces. There are ribs on top and a finger groove handle for a secure grip. This knife features a squared off blunt tip for chisling/flat blade screwdriver, a partially serrated cutting edge, a belt/line cutter, and a glass breaker pommel. The knife has a Stonewash finish and comes with textured black micarta handle scales. For carrying, a black kydex sheath is provided. It can be conveniently carried as a neck knife, boot knife, or on a belt or pack when used with an adapter

They have been carried by military, law enforcement, hunters, campers, and bushcrafters. This new version includes Red and Black G10 handles with a tread we call Rocky Mountain Bulls-eye. Those grooves improve the grip and the look of the knife, but cause hot spots like many other tread patterns. The purpose of the C.A.T.s was to provide a solid back-up blade that is easy to conceal and could save lives in the right scenario and with proper training. It is a small, strong, highly versatile knife that is easy to use and maintain. The design allows for good penetration and slashing cuts as well as a multitude of EDC uses. $94.50Originally designed from the Finnish sami knife, used by the Laplanders for all their hunting and bushcraft tasks. These knives have traditionally been flat ground, single or double sided, with a "zero-ground" edge ground to the edge.
It occurred to TOPS that a good idea is still a good idea in a smaller package. The Mini Scandi was a result of the very popular, original Brothers of Bushcraft (BROS-01) knife. It offers all the advantages of a modified Scandi grind in a neck knife, which makes it easily concealable. All of the cutting ability of a larger Scandi that can also fit in your pocket or pack.
