First introduced in 1924, the Old Hickory® knives are the most venerable product line still in active production. The Old Hickory® knives feature a hardwood handle secured with brass compression rivets to 1095 carbon steel. NOTE: These knives are made using high carbon steel. It is the original steel that has been used for decades. Be aware it is not Stainless. The blades are prone to rust and tarnish. Keep blade clean, dry and oiled after use to help preserve the finish.
